چکیده

This paper discusses two ways to establish the connection between two levels in a multi-level model. The first approach uses normal associations and generalizations under the assumption that the multi levels are represented in one UML and OCL model. The second approach views a middle level model both as a type model and as an instance model and introduces operations to navigate between the type and instance level. The paper reports on some experiments that have been carried out.

Multi-fidelity modelling via recursive co-kriging and Gaussian-Markov random fields.

We propose a new framework for design under uncertainty based on stochastic computer simulations and multi-level recursive co-kriging. The proposed methodology simultaneously takes into account multi-fidelity in models, such as direct numerical simulations versus empirical formulae, as well as multi-fidelity in the probability space (e.g. sparse grids versus tensor product multi-element probabi...

A TAYLOR SERIES APPROACH FOR SOLVING LINEAR FRACTIONAL DECENTRALIZED BI-LEVEL MULTI-OBJECTIVE DECISION-MAKING UNDER FUZZINESS

This paper presents a Taylor series approach for solving linear fractional de-centralized bi-level multi-objective decision-making (LFDBL-MODM) problems with asingle decision maker at the upper level and multiple decision makers at the lower level. In the proposed approach, the membership functions associated with each objective(s) ofthe level(s) of LFDBL-MODM are transformed by using a Taylor s...

Modelling Integrated Multi-item Supplier Selection with Shipping Frequencies

There are many benefits for coordination of multiple suppliers when single supplier cannot satisfy buyer demands.  In addition, buyer needs to purchase multiple items in a real supply chain. So, a model that satisfies these requests has many advantages. We extend the existing approaches in the literature that assume all suppliers need to be put on a common replenishment cycle and each supplier ...

Proceedings of the KI 2015 Workshop on Formal and Cognitive Reasoning 5th Workshop on Dynamics of Knowledge and Belief (DKB-2015) and 4th Workshop KI & Kognition (KIK-2015)

This paper addresses the issue of creating agents that are able to learn rules for cooperative problem solving behavior in different multi-agent scenarios. The proposed agents start with given rule fragments that are combined to rules determining their action selection. The agents learn how to apply these rules adequately by collecting rewards retrieved from the simulation environment of the sc...

Towards a Well-Founded Theory for Multi-Level Conceptual Modelling

Multi-level conceptual modelling addresses the representation of subject domains dealing explicitly with multiple classification levels. Despite the recent advances in multi-level modelling techniques, we believe that many challenges in multi-level conceptual modelling still stem from the lack of theory that: (i) formally characterizes the nature of classification levels, and (ii) precisely def...
